Parivar Niyojan

Ever since Parivar Niyojan, the programme to check population increase, failed during Congress regime and due to wrong implementation and over enthusiasm of Sanjay Gandhi and his stooges: successive governments conveniently did not take up this vital subject and closed their eyes like ostrich as if the wind storm will blow without causing any injury. Today, we are 125 Cr. plus and soon this may cross figure of 150 Cr.
To me it looks like a major problem to be be accorded heighiest priority or else India will become one of the failed State.
If one method did not work : does it mean that we should not look for other options. I don't accept that position. India will do a lot of good for this motherland and think for some alyernatives on long term basis.
May I suggest that a sum of Rs. 10,000/= (little more or kess) per month (provided he/she is part of two child norms per family) should be planed to be paid per child born after 2019- 20 towards the cost of his/her education and clothings. This scheme can be deliberated further amongst society and suitable working norms developed.
I think it's important to discuss such issues rather than putting it under the carpet. Let it be discussed with open mind. Implementation period can be decided as per the convenience of the financial availability.
Suggestions invited please.

  • Puneet Chowdhary Sir I think platinum card should be issued for unmarried, gold card for one child and silver card for 2 child. now these cards should hv unique numbers like AADHAR. starting from railway booking to other ways of life priority shud be extended to card holders starting from platinum card holders. Just a thought

  • Ram Saran Singh Sir I read your post and agree with your views. The growing population and depleting resources are a great menace to future generation. Our social system is also responsible to some extent. Unless male and female child are given equal status, this problem will remain.

  • Puneet Chowdhary Reprimand will not help in populace control. Rather encouragement and recognition to smaller families by extending them priority in school admissions, railway booking preference , Air booking discounts. In a way government should think of extending recognition to smaller families and tax payers as well.
