Today Congress is in bad shape. I think everyone is accusing Rahul of running away from the responsibility. I am not worried about the criticism. But I am certainly worried that there's is no opposition to the current government. And precisely, this is most worrying situation. Political parties like BJP and AAP both face this situation. They are in power and opposition has reduced to almost zero. BJP and AAP both are fighting for the space in politics for the next round. So is probably Congress. To my mind party with a difference will ultimately win the hearts will become successful in winning confidence of the people.
One must work programme which eventually benifit society and improve quality of life people in a graduated a manner. Merely by raising high hopes things may not work out.
PM while responding to the debate on motion of thanks in both houses have crushed the charges of opposition and the way he did it has kept his partymen's morale very high but at the same time the sarcasm with which he did it probably wouldn't go down the throat so easily as a Prime Minister he is leading the nation. Sarcasm can win you friends and followers but in the long term you will be looser. No great men in the Indian history has won minds and imagination of the people with sarcasm but with hard work and knowledge.
May be I am wrong. I hope, I am able to make a point.
