In Kaushambi Ghaziabad we have one Shri Mittal, who is working sincerely on improving the quality of life of Kaushambians. Yesterday, during morning walk time, he met residents of Kaushambi.

He took pain to explain because of 'no action'

attitude of the District administration, he has filed a number of PIL cases in Honb'le High Court at Allahabad and also he has taken up a legal case in NGT against various authorities in UP. He hoped that with the help ofrom courts he may be able to help the society in improving the quality of life.

I was just wondering that NGT has passed an order on restricting the use of 10 years old Diesel vehicles in Delhi and New Delhi areas. Now people in government are saying they don't have adequate resources to implement the orders of NGT. With every day passing quality of air in and around NCR is becoming worst and now GOI has also awakened after international community made its complaints about it. I think in times to come only battery operated vehicles will find it's way in.

I don't know how this country would be run. As an individual we approach the officer and they don't act, then we approach the Honb'le Courts to intervene and again back to square one position.

Are we a civilised and manageable nation or not? To me, this question remains unanswered. I don't know how do you feel about it?

  Ram Saran Singh I think phasing out ten years old diesel car in case of individual is too much. Out economy does not permit frequent change of vehicle. In some cases, owning a car may be life time achievement. Action for phasing out may be better applied on diesel operated buses and trucks. Battery operated vehicles are good options but it needs a lot of R&D to make it viable. Thanks sir.

  Rajan Varma I agree with Ram Saran Singh Sir- In India road conditions are different- एक आम आदमी के लिये एक कार खरीदना आज की तारीख में भी once-a-life-time incident है, जैसे घर ख़रीदना; पाश्चात्य देश धन-संपन्न देश हैं जहाँ 10 years is a life-time cycle, after which an asset needs to be replaced; and they can afford to throw their assets in the sea- but it is still a far fetched dream for Indians; 
  NGT अौर आदालतों का फ़रमान अपनी जगह सही है- पर कोई अौर विकल्प ढूँढना होगा; एक दिल्ली अकले में मुँबई+कोलकाता+चैनेई के बराबर कारें हैं- इसका क्या समाधान है?? क्या कार-पूल अौर पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट को प्रमोट नहीं करना चाहिये??

  S.p. Singh Above ideas are gr8 but HT is just before me and it reports that in Noida respiratory deseases up eleven times becoz of running DGSets as power is not available. Likewise Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Noida etc. life is reducing becoz of high pollutants. I think we have to think a fresh our living in cities and options like rediscovering our roots in villages etc. If only basic facilities are extended by the government. Collective failure of leadership and officers of the State are playing havoc with the lives of millions Indians. I think in any way government may also would like to see us fade out.

  Ram Saran Singh Sir. I agree that DG sets are more pollutant. For this electric supply should be improved to reduce the use of DG sets. Secondly, all jobs, technical or non technical, are established in cities, and people are forced to move to cities for betterment of their lives. So whatever you do, system is bound to collapse because of loads and pressure. Third apathy of officials is also adding insult to injury. Thanks.
